Iraq says it did not touch the desire of al-Maliki to deal with the paper Arbil
16/05/2012 10:31

Baghdad, May 16 (Rn) - The Iraqi List led by former Prime Minister Iyad Allawi, Wednesday, it did not touch until now, the seriousness of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to deal with the contents of the paper Arbil II, which set the deadline of 15 days ending on Thursday for the implementation of its provisions or resorting to the decision to withdraw confidence from the current government.

It was agreed that four leaders are Massoud Barzani, and Iyad Allawi and Moqtada al-Sadr and Osama Najafi in a letter to nine axes to be implemented by 17 May to ensure ongoing support for the Maliki government.

The letter says that in case of refusal to abide by the principles and frames of this agreement will take practical steps within a period not exceeding 15 days to conduct a vote of confidence in the government.

The leading figure in the list Dhafir al-Ani told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) "We in the Iraqi List, until now did not we see the seriousness of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to deal with the contents of the second paper of Arbil."

Ani said that "the situation continues as it is now, the leaders signed the paper to take the appropriate decision to push Maliki to deal positively of the paper."

The mass of the National Alliance held a meeting last night and the first focused on the importance of holding the national meeting as soon as not to waste time and side issues.

National Alliance has not taken any official position regarding the content of what is stated in the second paper of Arbil and identified by the Alliance to answer it before the end of the time limit.

And announced that block free on Sunday that the time period of 15 days identified in the recent paper of Arbil was not aimed at the implementation of all demands, but of intent to accept and abide by the implementation of the National Alliance bloc.
